Our love story began in 2023 with a conversation that felt strangely familiar—like two hearts reconnecting after knowing each other for a lifetime.

Alexandra:

From our very first conversation, everything felt effortless. The laughter came easily, the conversations flowed endlessly, and with every moment, I felt like I was exactly where I was meant to be.

Victor:

From the moment we connected, I felt something different. With her, I was completely at ease—able to be my true self without holding back. That was when I knew she was special. I even caught myself speaking Igbo to her without thinking… forgetting she didn’t understand me at all. Lol.

For our first date, Victor drove to Liverpool—and from that moment, everything changed.

Alexandra:

The first time I saw him, my heart skipped a beat. He was tall, handsome, and somehow even more than I had imagined. I couldn’t hide how excited I was.

Victor:

The moment I saw her, I was completely taken. All I could say was “Achalugo.”

That day became one neither of us would ever forget. We shared food, laughter, and long conversations as we explored the Royal Albert Dock, wandered through the Merseyside Maritime Museum, rode scooters through the park, and ended the evening with ice cream and hearts already growing closer.

Alexandra:

As we were leaving the docks, he looked at me and said, “There’s something I want to ask you… but I feel like you’ll say no.” I laughed and told him to ask anyway. Then came the question that changed everything—he asked me to be his girlfriend… and with the biggest smile, I said yes.

Victor:

Standing by the docks,I was convinced she might say no… or at least tell me she needed time to think about it. So, when she said yes, I was honestly surprised. Moments later, she smiled and admitted that saying yes on a first date wasn’t something she would normally do. I simply reassured her that what we had felt so natural because it was meant to be—some things are just destined, and from that moment, I knew ours was one of them.

As the years passed, our love only grew deeper, stronger, and more certain.

Then on 6th December 2025, in one of the most beautiful moments of our journey, we made another promise—a promise of forever. A promise to choose each other, love each other, and build a lifetime together.
